Hey there, are finals over yet? Looking for the scoop on La. Tech and our bowl game. I'm still shocked by this, but we'll take it!!! After the loss to Navy, I did not think there was any chance at all. It still seems odd that the two best NIU teams in history, 2003 and 2005 NIU did not make a bowl game. With that hope all is well and I'm looking for some inside info. Maybe sometime we can have a discussion if our basketball team will ever be good again.

I'm still stinging about that 10-2 team that didn't make a bowl
that this team making one actually makes me a little madder. I still can’t figure out how that team got snubbed.
But, I guess I’ll have to suck it up and take advantage of the bowl. The game is on ESPN, right? Hope so. I’ll be down at my parents house in Southern Illinois and probably will need something to watch.
The boys are all here for ya...we'll back you up...we'll be there...cause, Billy, we don't stink right now. We're the best team in baseball right now...right this minute...because of you. You're the reason. We're not gonna screw that up, we're gonna be awesome for you right now. Just throw.
I almost feel a little guilty that we got the bowl
but we need to take advantage of it and win the game
