I knew Dan Lefevour would outplay Tim Tebow.

Dan Lefevour passed for one touchdown and ran for another. His draft status has risen while Tim Tebow's has fallen. I think he fumbled the ball too. If i was an NFL scout i would take D.L. before  all but maybe one of the prospects that  Todd Mcshay and the rest of his ESPN cohorts think are better than Dan Lefevour. I'm sure D.L will do quite well at the NFL combine too. He does not get the attention of the other's b/c he plays in the MAC Conference but so did Ben Rothlisberger and he has two super bowl rings. I predict great things for Mr. Lefevour when he gets his chance to play at the nfl level.

Did you watch the game?

The TD run for Lefevour you speak of was because he fumbled the snap and half of the defense stopped playing for no apparent reason.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

so and tim tebow just fumbled and did not even have the arm strength to get the ball to his receivers.

actually it takes some skill to fumble the ball away and pick it up and run for the td. not his fault the south quit playing. i thought the south mostly sec guy’s took pride in thinking they are much better than anything north. maybe you should reread the post it just says d.l. outplayed t.t. i guarantee dan lefevour becomes a much better qb than tim tebow. tebow was a great college qb but will not do well in the nfl. he has alot of company too in players that won heisman’s and did not do well in the nfl. peace.

i'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. i was building a house, i don't deserve this, deserves have nothing to do with it. bang. "unforgiven"

I read it.

and my comment had nothing to do with who out-played who. Neither exactly lit up the defense. But, just was pointing out that Lefevour’s 1 yard td “run” was caused by a mistake he made. and, since I’m assuming you didn’t watch the game, there was zero “skill”. He picked it up, ran into the back of a lineman, and then jogged around the side where there were two South defenders standing there as bystanders.

Don’t take offense just because Lefevour out-played Tebow and no one is impressed.

i've seen pro qb's who had fumbleitis and could not even pick up a ball they fumbled and they start in the nfl.

don’t be angry that your an average person b/c i’m not impressed that you think 50% are dumber than you. peace.

Look, I'm a fan of Lefevour.

Ultimately I was wanting to point out that by his outplaying Tim Tebow isn’t necessarily the best way to go about saying he’s going to be successful in the NFL. Tebow stinks so that doesn’t really say anything about Lefevour except that he doesn’t stink.

Nevertheless, I got side-tracked on the whole 1-yard td run.

that is all i was trying to say

tim tebow was the quintessential dual threat qb. he was a great college football player, a good person and a good ambassador for college football. all i was saying is dan lefevour will be the better pro b/c he will most likely have a very decent offensive line to play with(that is not taking a shot at the mac conference either) it’s just that the men who play nfl offensive lineman will be bigger, faster and more skilled when he gets to the next level. i’m all about the non aq bcs conferences. you can look at my profile if you have not already. my favorite team is the utah utes. d. lefevour just did not get the exposure b/c he played in the mac. i even hope tim tebow can switch to tight end or something like that. there have been a few guys who have converted. a. randle el of indiana was one and there are a few others. i wish the best of luck to both men.

The OLine not really a factor...

The D Lines are going to be much better too. CMU’s O Line was probably better in comparison to the average D Line they faced, so if anything it will be harder for him in college. Most weekends he had the superior line, in the NFL that may not be the case.

LeFevour will be just fine b/c he is a good quarterback not because of his OLine situation or because TeBow isn’t good.

Tebow will have more trouble, but he could turn it around too if he is given time and finds a good QB coach. I’d draft LeFevour in a heart beat over Tebow though, you just have some weird explanations for why he’ll be good.
