Big Man on Campus: Jordan Lynch

The following article comes from my personal football blog, StarBust Football, Inc:

With a lot going on at the top of the College Football world, you might have missed that the Northern Illinois  Huskies have cracked the Top 25 in both national polls after closing out the regular season with an unblemished MAC record. The Huskies are now 10-2, having lost early season games to Iowa State and Illinois by slim margins, and will play Miami (Ohio) in the MAC title game on Saturday.

If you missed that, chances are that you missed the box score of NIU's 71-3 win over Eastern Michigan on Saturday. The Huskies put up some huge offensive numbers, but no individual performance in the game, or perhaps the nation, was more impressive than that of backup quarterback Jordan Lynch. Yes, I said backup. Lynch carried the ball twice on Saturday and took those respective carries for touchdown runs of 81 and 61 yards. Yes, those are factual statistics -- two carries, two TD's, 142 rushing yards. To make it even more impressive he did it on back-to-back offensive snaps, which sandwiched an EMU three-and-out. Big props to the redshirt freshman from Chicago for putting up those ridiculous, video game-type numbers.

For his amazing Saturday performance, StarBust Football is proud to name NIU's Jordan Lynch as our Big Man on Campus for week thirteen of the College Football season.

Lynch is a cinch as our next QB

this guy will challenge Harnish next spring…..and that’s a good thing
where is A J Hill? and I say it again……isn’t it time to consider moving Grady out to WR?

Our WR's are pretty damn good..

You need a back up quarterback. Grady just got lost in a numbers game, either position he’d find it hard to get on the field at this point.
