I find this commet intersting
The one area that didn’t need an instant impact was the offensive backfield, yet two of the key players were QB Casey Weston and RB Jasmin Hopkins to upgrade the talent level.
Apparently, the CFN “STAFF” think Chandler Harnish is just fine the way he is and have no concerns and that the loss of Me’co Brown is just a “whatever”. If Coach Kill can publically question the health of Harnish’s knee going forward, don’t you think CFN should do the same?
I also find it interesting that (I assume) they are taking issue with so many DBs taken. Well, maybe they aren’t familiar with the number of underclassmen on the offensive side of the ball?
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.
The loss of Me'Co is a whatever..
There are superior players on the team. Harnish’s injury could be an issue though.

I know a lot of people are down on Me'co
but with losing Anderson, losing Me’co isn’t a “whatever”.
He ran for almost 650 yards in 10 games (I’m eliminating the Miami game since he only had 5 carries).

They do have other running backs...
Jazz and Crider, among others, should have the third down back up spot locked down pretty easily. Me’Co was a good third down back / change of pace guy, but he was just a back up at best, easily replaced.
If Spann left we’d be in trouble, although Hopkins may prove even that to be false. Me’Co is a nice piece to have, but he wasn’t going to win or lose us a game this year (well, he might us lose another one or two, but I’d put that on Kill for him playing him, not on Me’Co), probably the fourth best back on the team. I’d be more worried about Tense leaving.

Doesn’t do a great job of “scouting” the players that NIU recruited.
