It's unofficially, OFFICIAL!
I am not sure of the details, but I have it from a pretty reliable source that Me'co Brown is no longer in the plans of Coach Kill and the Huskie football team. As the team has dispersed for Spring Break, Me'co has left school and is planning to transfer to a school closer to home in Mississippi. Although NIU showing him the door is probably closer to the truth.
This means Chad 'Super' Spann heads into the spring as the unquestioned number one back. I hope his off-season conditioning is going well as we are going to need him to tote the rock a lot! I do think based on what we have seen on film that Ju'co transfer Jaz Hopkins will be able to spell him. Antoine Kirkland also has to step up and bring it this year as a redshirt freshmen
The Huskies are primed for a MAC run to the title and will probably miss Me'co, but I don't think it will be as big a loss as some will try to make it out to be. He was a smallish back that in spurts had problems holding onto the ball. He also was more interested in blazing up then developing blazing speed. Thanks for Purdue though!

Re: Uh-oh
Not messing with you. When the students come back from spring break Me’co will not be there. He is already gone and is no longer a member of the NIU football team.
