"It’d be bad if you had three bad quarterbacks and you had to make a decision," Kill said. "We’re fortunate we have good quarterbacks and have to make a decision. I’m blessed with that."

So Kill picks his starting lineups based on if he ‘likes’ someone?

I bet it's Harnish also
but any sign of trouble and I bet we get Grady.
Then again, he did routinely start Me’co last year over Spann so who am I to speculate what Kill will do.

Or it could be just a poor coaching decision. He’s done the running back rotation thing for many years and was slow to realize that Spann had separated himself from the other backs. Any other examples?

I’ll answer my own question. Justin Anderson. Supposedly he was in Kill’s doghouse, but I haven’t heard why. My view of Kill isn’t as cynical as some others – yet, I just don’t have enough to go on to consider this a trend – which is what you would see if he picks players based on ‘man crushes’ over talent.

Running back is just the most obvious
We’d need to sit and watch tape for quite a few hours if you wanted to see figure out just about any other position besides QB, RB and WR.
