The Score thing was last friday
and I’m not sure since I’m inexplicably blocked from The Score’s website at work if there is an archive of the interviews or not.
I actually heard the end of the Montgomery interview. He didn’t say too much. Mentioned Tim Toller and how the offense is going to have to go through him next year (i cringed a bit, but I suppose what the hell else is he supposed to say).
Sounds like a pleasant enough guy.
And Boers actually hit the nail on the head a bit when he told Montgomery he needed to be the silly/funny basketball coach in interviews and not worry about being the psychotic asshat that college football coaches have to be. it’s a better gig. Basketball coaches get to be decent human beings.
got me to thinking about how many people despised Ricardo Patton and how he constantly was rubbing people the wrong way…….
Life is tough, but it's tougher if you're stupid.
