Brad Mills-US PRESSWIRE

After getting cut from the active roster, former Northern Illinois Huskie Quarterback Chandler Harnish signs with the Indianapolis Cotls Practice Squad.

While former Mr. Irrelevant in the draft Quarterback Chandler Harnish was cut from the Colts recently, it's not all bad news. Harnish was signed recently to the Colts Practice Squad and will continue to be their third option just in case anything happens to Andrew Luck.

The News-Sentinel talks about Harnish's current situation:

The Colts' No.1 pick, quarterback Andrew Luck, has taken every regular-season snap on offense. The Colts' No.2 quarterback, veteran Drew Stanton, has been called upon to help groom Luck for any NFL situations he faces as the new face of the franchise.

In terms of recent graduates, Atlanta Falcons LB Pat Schiller is currently on the Atlanta Falcons practice squad as well. As is DB Tracy Wilson, who is currently on the Tennessee Titans practice squad.

Chandler Harnish was a four-year starter at QB for the Huskies and also NIU's all-time leading passer.
