NIU in the NFL Week 8

Atlanta Falcons RB Michael Turner rushed the ball 24 times for 58 yds in a 30-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on the road. Matt Ryan had 3 TD passes.

San Diego Chargers backup OLB Larry English played, but didn't register any tackles in a 6-7 loss to the Cleveland Browns on the road.

Dallas Cowboys RT Doug Free started at his usual spot and protected Tony Romo as he made his comeback, only to blow it at the end as they lost 29-24 at home to the New York Giants.

Indianapolis Colts WR Nathan Palmer wasn't active for the Colts 19-13 win over the Tennessee Titans on the road.

NIU in the NFL Week 7: Two players see action

Indianapolis Colts WR Nathan Palmer saw time early on as the Colts improve to 3-3 on the season with a win over the Cleveland Browns. No catches though. Andrew Luck RAN for two touchdowns, which was supposed to be Chandler Harnish's specialty. Oh well.

Dallas Cowboys RT Doug Free started as usual and led Dallas to a 19-14 win on the road vs. the Carolina Panthers. Romo had a game-winning drive? These things happen?

RT Doug Free, Dallas Cowboys (2-3)

Free will be starting for the Cowboys as they take on the Carolina Panthers on the road.

WR Nathan Palmer, Indianapolis Colts (2-3)

Palmer has played the last two weeks for the Colts. Last week he had 1 reception for -4 yds. The Colts will be taking on the Cleveland Browns at home.

The Atlanta Falcons (Michael Turner) and the San Diego Chargers (Larry English) are both on bye weeks this week.
