As mentioned previously, the MAC finished with SEVEN bowl eligible teams this season. As a whole, there are 72 bowl eligible teams for the 70 Bowl spots. The latest North Coast Bias projections have the Central Michigan Chippewas and the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers missing out on the Bowl Season.
Just a quick reminder that North Coast Bias was the first to project the MAC Champion to a BCS Bowl and we stick with that projection in our Final MAC Bowl Projections.
As for the rest of the bowls, the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl still projects to have an opponent from the Sun Belt Conference, with the other primary bowls featuring opponents as contracted.
Of the five disclosed secondary agreements, only the Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl is projected to host a MAC team. Earlier in the week the MAC announced that it had reached an agreement with the Military Bowl to provide a team to play a team from the WAC in RFK Stadium.
The BCS Bowl is listed first, followed by the three Primary Bowls, and finally by the additional Bowls.
