I love talking polls, so let's move on to this week's fiasco.

First we'll go over the Coaches Poll, you know the one that matters in the BCS scheme of things.

The NIU Huskies move up one spot to #22 from #23 last week.

#16 Georgia and #22 Florida dropped off the poll after losses.

#21 Nebraska stays ahead of NIU by sitting on the couch.

#20 South Carolina still hanging in there after losing to an unranked Tennessee team and moving to 5-2. They also lost to a now-unranked Georgia team early on in the season. SEC!!

#19 Virginia Tech moves up from #20 by sitting on the couch.

#18 Fresno State moves up from #19 by defeating 2014-2015 opponent UNLV.

#15 Texas A&M lost to a #17 Auburn team BECAUSE THESE RANKINGS MAKE PERFECT SENSE.

Also Louisville loses to a now #25 UCF team and is ranked #16.

The AP Poll

NIU stays at #23 while Fresno moves from #17 to #15 BECAUSE GEORGIA, SOUTH CAROLINA AND LOUISVILLE LOST.

I HATE THE POLLS AND HAVE NO PATIENCE. RANK THIS TEAM. JORDAN LYNCH SET A RECORD WITH 316 YDS RUSHING YESTERDAY AND NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT THIS TEAM HIGHER. I HATE THAT FRESNO AND BOISE GET A PASS BECAUSE OF THE "NAME FACTOR." WHY IS FRESNO RANKED SO HIGH DOESN'T ANYBODY REMEMBER THE 2010 HUMANITARIAN BOWL?

/END RANT

Ten years ago almost to the date a 7-0 NIU squad was ranked #12 in the nation.

I guess we'll just have to win "the hard way" like we always do.
