Another week, another huge performance by Jordan Lynch.
Fresh off of his 316 rushing yds at Central Michigan last week, Lynch returned home and showed why he is a top Heisman candidate vs the Eastern Michigan Eagles.
Lynch finished the day going 16-20 for 223 yds and 4 TDs passing. 18 car for 99 and a TD rushing. AND 1 REC FOR 17 YDS AND A TD RECEIVING? Yes, let's look back at what happened in this one.
The Huskies got the ball to start the game and made it count with a 13-play grind of a drive that concluded with Lynch tossing a fade pass to Da'Ron Brown to the top-right corner of the endzone and he made the catch with a guy all over him.
The next TD came quick when NIU got the ball again after TommyLee Lewis had a huge 54 rush on a sweep. He finished the drive with a toss to true freshman RB Joel Bouagnon on the left side.
What was next? Fresh off a huge 41-yd punt return by a returning Angelo Sebastiano, Lynch finished the drive with a run for 30 yds to left for yet another TD.
End of the first quarter and the score is 21-3 with 3 Lynch TDs. He wasn't done yet on the day..

Check this next scoring play out. In adding yet another wrinkle to the offense, Lynch gave the ball to Tommylee and Lewis threw the ball to Lynch on a fake. What an awesome play.
The Huskies went up 34-3 on that last one and would add a field goal before the half.
2nd Half
Would Jordan Lynch sit? Nope, he finished his day with a 28 yd reception to Da'Ron Brown after yet another play-action pass.
Credit everyone on the team for making this type of day happen for Lynch week-in and week-out.
