Former NIU Huskies Head Coach Jerry Kill had to be carted off the field today during halftime of the game between his Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Western Illinois Leathernecks.
The latest update is that Kill is resting at a hospital comfortably. This is great news.
On BTN, a Minnesota official said Jerry Kill was taken to a hospital and is resting comfortably there. Great news.

Kill was head coach of the the Huskies from 2008-2010. He did not suffer any health problems while he was leading Northern Illinois.
Since then, he has suffered seizures in both 2011 against New Mexico State and in 2012 in the locker room against Northwestern. He also had seizures previously at Southern Illinois in 2001 and 2005.
Huskie Nation wishes him the best in recovering.
